nothingness
Total absence exists
Nothingness is the state or quality of being nothing—complete absence, emptiness, or nonexistence.
Philosophy uses it to discuss the void or what lies beyond being: He contemplated the nothingness that preceded creation.
More loosely, nothingness describes insignificance or worthlessness: Their achievements faded into nothingness.
The word can evoke existential dread or peaceful emptiness depending on context.
