Brickwork is construction made of bricks—walls, chimneys, facades, or decorative elements built by laying bricks in mortar.
The term covers both the structure itself and the craft of creating it: The old brickwork needs repointing.
Brickwork can be ornamental, with patterns created by varying brick orientation or color.
