liner
Ship or insert
A liner is something that lines—that is, covers the inside of something else.
Liners provide a protective or functional layer: a trash bag is a bin liner, makeup applied along the edge of an eyelid is eyeliner, and ships or aircraft that travel regular routes are ocean liners or airliners, following established lines of travel.
I need to replace the liner in the slow cooker.
A liner in baseball is a ball hit in a nearly straight line, also called a line drive.
