flue

Hearth's exhaust passage

A flue is a duct or channel that carries smoke, hot air, or exhaust gases from a fireplace, furnace, or boiler to the outside: The chimney flue needs cleaning.

By extension, flue refers to any passage for conveying heat, as in a heat exchanger.

A flue can also be the pipe of an organ or the fishing net called a flue net.
