coursing
Rushing through channels
Coursing is the sport of hunting game, especially hares, using dogs that chase by sight rather than scent.
Greyhounds and similar sighthounds pursue prey across open ground while spectators watch and often wager on the outcome.
The term also describes any swift, flowing movement, as when blood goes coursing through veins or water coursing over rocks.
Adrenaline was coursing through her body as she stepped onto the stage.
