UDP
No-handshake network protocol
UDP stands for User Datagram Protocol, a method of sending data over the internet that prioritizes speed over reliability.
Unlike TCP, UDP doesn't verify that packets arrive or arrive in order—it just sends them.
This makes UDP ideal for real-time applications like video streaming, online gaming, and voice calls, where a dropped packet matters less than delay.
