unicast
One-to-one transmission
Unicast is network communication sent from one sender to one specific recipient, as opposed to broadcast (to all) or multicast (to a group).
Most internet traffic is unicast—when you load a webpage, the server sends data specifically to your device.
The video stream uses unicast delivery to each viewer.
