ACK

Got it signal

In computing, ACK is an acknowledgment signal sent to confirm that data has been received successfully.

It's fundamental to network protocols like TCP, where systems exchange ACK packets to verify transmission: The server sent an ACK after receiving the request.

The term extends to any confirmation of receipt in technical communication. (Lowercase ack is an exclamation or informal acknowledgment.)
