Minos

Cretan mythological ruler

Minos is a king in Greek mythology, ruler of Crete and son of Zeus.

He commissioned the labyrinth to contain the Minotaur and demanded tribute of Athenian youth to feed it.

After death, Minos became a judge of souls in the underworld.
