Icarus

Flew too high

Icarus is a figure from Greek mythology who flew too close to the sun on wings made of feathers and wax.

When the wax melted, he fell into the sea and drowned.

The name now evokes reckless ambition or overreaching that leads to downfall: His expansion plans proved Icarian—spectacular until the crash.
