Greek myths
Olympian god stories
Greek myths are the traditional stories of ancient Greece—tales of gods, heroes, monsters, and mortals that explained natural phenomena, human nature, and the origins of customs.
The pantheon includes Zeus, Athena, Apollo, and dozens of others whose conflicts and affairs drive the narratives.
These stories have furnished Western culture with enduring archetypes: the Oedipus complex, Achilles' heel, the Midas touch, Pandora's box.
