Theseus

Labyrinth escapee, Athenian

Theseus is a hero of Greek mythology, legendary king of Athens.

He is best known for slaying the Minotaur in the labyrinth of Crete, escaping by following a thread given to him by Ariadne.

The ship of Theseus is a philosophical puzzle about identity: if every plank of a ship is gradually replaced, is it still the same ship?
