demigod

Deity's mortal child

A demigod is a being with partial divine status—typically the offspring of a god and a mortal in Greek and Roman mythology: Hercules was a demigod, son of Zeus and a human woman.

The term extends to anyone treated as godlike or possessing extraordinary powers: Tech founders are treated as demigods in Silicon Valley.
