judgment
Official legal decision
A judgment is the conclusion reached after weighing information.
When an authority issues a judgment, it offers an opinion about its merits, viability, truth, or other characteristic: The tribunal is expected to issue a judgment in the matter soon.
Judgment in general is the capacity to draw sound conclusions and can be viewed as good or bad: Her judgment about boyfriends seems to be pretty dicey these days. I thought you showed good judgment in declining their offer.
Judgement is an alternative spelling.
