throne
Chair of state
A throne is a ceremonial chair for a monarch or other dignitary, typically ornate and elevated.
By extension, throne refers to royal power itself: The king ascended the throne at age twelve.
To be on the throne is to reign.
In casual speech, throne is a joking term for a toilet: He's on the throne.
