Aloha State's chain
The Hawaiian Islands are a volcanic archipelago in the central Pacific Ocean, comprising the U.S. state of Hawaii.
The chain includes eight major islands—Hawaii (the Big Island), Maui, Oahu, Kauai, Molokai, Lanai, Niihau, and Kahoolawe—along with numerous smaller islets stretching northwest.
