Yellowstone

Wyoming's geothermal preserve

Yellowstone is a national park spanning Wyoming, Montana, and Idaho, established in 1872 as the world's first national park.

It sits atop a volcanic hotspot, famous for geysers like Old Faithful, hot springs, and diverse wildlife including bison and grizzly bears.

The name refers to the yellow-hued cliffs along the Yellowstone River.

We're planning a trip to Yellowstone this summer.
