overweight
Above ideal mass
Overweight means above normal or desirable weight.
A person may be clinically overweight based on body mass index, or simply heavier than they'd like.
The word extends beyond bodies: an overweight suitcase exceeds airline limits, an overweight portfolio holds too much of one investment.
To be overweight in a stock is to hold more than the benchmark allocation suggests.
