equivalence
State of sameness
Equivalence is the state of being equal or interchangeable in value, function, or meaning.
Two things have equivalence when they can substitute for each other: The course has equivalence with the required prerequisite.
In logic and mathematics, equivalence describes a relationship where statements or expressions yield the same result.
There's no real equivalence between the two situations.
