non-discrimination
Fairness toward all
Non-discrimination is the principle or practice of treating people equally regardless of characteristics like race, sex, religion, or disability.
It appears most often in legal and policy contexts: a non-discrimination policy, non-discrimination laws.
The hyphenated form emphasizes the negation of discrimination; some style guides prefer *nondiscrimination*.
