unbiasedness
Lack of prejudice
Unbiasedness is the quality of being free from prejudice or systematic distortion.
In statistics, an unbiased estimator produces results that, on average, equal the true value being measured.
More generally, unbiasedness suggests fairness and objectivity: The study's unbiasedness was questioned when funding sources were revealed.
The word is somewhat awkward; impartiality or objectivity often serves better in non-technical contexts.
