consent
Say yes to
When you consent to something, you agree to do it: More than 500 volunteers consented to participate in the study.
You can give your consent about an action that doesn’t involve you directly: Students are required to get their parents’ consent in writing before using the facilities.
The participle consenting is used to talk about activities, usually involving two people, in which both of them consent to what they are doing—that is, neither is acting by compulsion: consenting partners.
