Mountain
Massive earth elevation
A mountain is a large natural elevation of earth's surface, rising prominently above its surroundings.
Mountains are distinguished from hills by greater height and steeper slopes, though no fixed boundary separates them.
The term extends to piles or large quantities: a mountain of paperwork, a mountain of debt.
To make a mountain out of a molehill is to exaggerate a minor problem.
Mountain also modifies things associated with highlands: mountain lion, mountain bike, mountain range.
