stockpile
Accumulated emergency supply
A stockpile is a large accumulated supply of materials or goods held in reserve: a stockpile of weapons, emergency food stockpiles.
The term often appears in military or strategic contexts—nations stockpile ammunition, oil, or medical supplies against future need.
As a verb, to stockpile is to accumulate such reserves: They've been stockpiling canned goods since the pandemic began.
