westerner
Person from sunsets
A westerner is someone from the western part of a region or country, or more broadly, someone from Western civilization—Europe, North America, and related cultures.
In American contexts, a westerner often means someone from the western United States: She's a westerner, born and raised in Montana.
The term sometimes carries connotations of rugged individualism or frontier spirit.
