a beaver hat.

A beaver is also a face guard on a helmet.

In vulgar slang, beaver means the female genitals, particularly with visible pubic hair, or women as sex objects: beaver shot (photograph showing female genitals).

The slang is crude and dated, peaking in 1970s-era pornography terminology, but still understood.
