tube
Passage for liquids
A tube is a hollow cylinder, typically for conveying liquids or gases: a tube of toothpaste, breathing tube, test tube.
The London Underground is the Tube.
In American slang, the tube once meant television, from the cathode ray tube.
Anatomically, tubes are cylindrical passages: fallopian tubes, bronchial tubes.
To tube is to float down a river on an inflated inner tube.
