culture
Society's collective ways
Culture is a complex system of knowledge, belief, and custom that is transmitted through generations.
It is usually considered unique to human life, though other intelligent animals are thought to have forms of culture.
The word can be used to talk about this vast and diverse system generally, or a particular part of it, such as popular culture, Persian culture, or political culture.
As a verb, the most common use of culture is technical and means “grow in a defined or controlled medium”: The tissue was cultured in an agar solution.
