carriage
Stately wheeled conveyance
A carriage is a wheeled vehicle, especially one drawn by horses for transporting people.
The word extends to anything that carries or conveys: a baby carriage, the carriage of a typewriter (the part that moves), or a railway carriage (British for a passenger car).
Carriage also means bearing or posture—how someone carries themselves: She has the carriage of a dancer.
The carriage of goods is their transport, and carriage charges are shipping fees.
