tuba
Deepest orchestral horn
A tuba is the largest and lowest-pitched brass instrument, producing deep bass tones through a wide bell and long coiled tubing.
The player buzzes their lips into a cup-shaped mouthpiece.
Tubas anchor brass sections in orchestras and marching bands: The tuba player lugged his instrument onto the field.
