tubular
Hollow and round
Tubular describes something shaped like a tube—hollow and cylindrical: tubular steel, tubular pasta.
In anatomy and biology, tubular structures abound: tubular glands, tubular flowers.
In surfer slang from the 1980s, tubular became an exclamation of enthusiasm, from the tube-shaped curl of a perfect wave: Totally tubular, dude!
The slang now sounds dated or ironic.
