stomach
Internal food processor
The stomach is the organ where food goes after swallowing, a muscular sac that breaks down what we eat.
More loosely, stomach refers to the belly or abdomen: a punch to the stomach, sleeping on your stomach.
To stomach something is to tolerate or endure it: I can't stomach his arrogance.
A strong stomach means tolerance for unpleasant sights or situations; a weak stomach means the opposite.
