sick
Under the weather
Sick means unwell or suffering from illness: I was sick all last week.
In American English, sick covers any ailment; in British English, it often specifically means nauseated or vomiting.
Something sick can be morally disturbing or twisted: a sick joke, That's sick.
Confusingly, sick is also slang for impressive or excellent: Those shoes are sick.
To be sick of something is to be thoroughly tired of it.
A sick burn is a devastating insult.
