surfeit

More than enough

A surfeit is an excessive amount, especially of something enjoyable that becomes unpleasant through overindulgence: a surfeit of rich food, a surfeit of advice.

The word carries a sense of cloying abundance—too much of a good thing.

As a verb, to surfeit is to overindulge to the point of disgust or sickness: surfeited on sweets.
