flora
Area's plant life
Flora is plant life, especially all the plants of a particular region or period: the flora of the Amazon basin, intestinal flora.
The term pairs with fauna (animal life) when describing an ecosystem's living things: the flora and fauna of the Galápagos.
In medicine, flora refers to microorganisms living in or on the body: gut flora. (Capitalized Flora is the Roman goddess of flowers or a given name.)
