saint
Heaven's certified resident
A saint is a person formally recognized by a religious authority—especially the Catholic Church—as having lived a holy life worthy of veneration.
More loosely, saint describes anyone exceptionally virtuous or patient: She's a saint for putting up with him.
The verb means to canonize or regard as holy.
As a title before names, it's usually capitalized: Saint Patrick, Saint Jude.
He's no saint acknowledges someone's flaws.
