stigmata
Miraculous bodily marks
Stigmata are marks or wounds corresponding to those of Christ's crucifixion—on the hands, feet, and side.
In Catholic tradition, certain saints and mystics have reportedly manifested stigmata as signs of divine favor or identification with Christ's suffering: She bore the stigmata for thirty years.
More broadly, stigmata can mean any distinguishing marks or characteristics.
The singular is stigma, though that word now more commonly means a mark of disgrace.
