master
One in control
A master is one who is very skilled at something (Zen master).
A master may also be the owner or controller of something (dog master, slave master).
Before another noun, master denotes great and sometimes prime importance (master craftsman, master bedroom).
A master recording is the original from which copies are made.
To master a skill or art is to practice it sufficiently to be good at it.
If you master your emotions or feelings, you gain control over them.
