glute bridges
Supine hip raises
Glute bridges are a strength exercise performed lying face-up with knees bent, lifting the hips toward the ceiling by squeezing the gluteal muscles.
The movement targets the glutes, hamstrings, and lower back: I do fifty glute bridges every morning.
Variations include single-leg bridges and weighted bridges with a barbell across the hips.
