leg extensions
Seated knee straighteners
Leg extensions are a weight training exercise performed on a machine, targeting the quadriceps by extending the legs from a bent to straight position while seated.
The movement isolates the front thigh muscles: I always finish leg day with leg extensions.
The term also refers to the machine itself.
