sit-ups

Core floor workout

Sit-ups are an abdominal exercise performed by lying on your back with knees bent, then raising your torso toward your knees.

The movement targets core muscles and is a staple of fitness routines and physical training tests: I do fifty sit-ups every morning.

Also called crunches, though crunches technically involve a smaller range of motion.
