arm swings
Shoulder loosening exercise
Arm swings are a warmup exercise where you move your arms in controlled arcs—forward and back, side to side, or in circles—to loosen the shoulders and increase blood flow before more intense activity.
Coaches and trainers use them to prepare athletes for throwing, swimming, or lifting: Start with some arm swings to get your shoulders loose.
