fascists
Dictatorial ideology supporters
Fascists are adherents of fascism—an authoritarian political ideology emphasizing nationalism, dictatorial power, and suppression of opposition.
The term originated with Mussolini's movement in 1920s Italy.
In strict usage, fascists support specific far-right ideologies: The fascists marched through the streets.
More loosely, fascist is an epithet for anyone perceived as authoritarian or intolerant: Don't be such a fascist about the dress code.
