antifascism
Against far-right ideology
Antifascism is opposition to fascism and fascist movements.
The term encompasses a range of political positions united by resistance to authoritarian nationalism, from liberal democrats to anarchists and communists.
Antifascist movements have historically organized to counter fascist rallies and propaganda: Antifascism brought together unlikely allies.
The shortened form antifa refers specifically to militant antifascist groups.
