antifascist
Against totalitarian nationalism
Antifascist describes opposition to fascism—the authoritarian, ultranationalist ideology associated with Mussolini's Italy and Nazi Germany.
As a noun, an antifascist is someone who actively opposes fascist movements or governments.
The term gained renewed currency in the 21st century with the rise of antifa, a loose movement using confrontational tactics against groups perceived as fascist: Antifascist protesters clashed with white nationalists.
