barbarianism
Uncivilized brutal behavior
Barbarianism refers to a barbarous act, condition, or trait—behavior or customs considered uncivilized, crude, or brutal.
The word also has a technical sense in language: an error in usage, especially a word or expression foreign to standard speech.
The critics viewed the invasion as pure barbarianism.
The term carries the same cultural judgments as barbarism, which is more common.
