indigenous
Native to here
Indigenous means originating in or native to a particular place, rather than arriving from elsewhere.
Plants and animals are indigenous to regions where they evolved naturally: species indigenous to the Amazon.
The word also describes cultural practices or knowledge that developed locally rather than being imported. (Capitalized Indigenous refers specifically to native peoples.)
