Studies the cosmos
An astronomer is a scientist who studies celestial objects and phenomena—stars, planets, galaxies, and the universe at large.
The work ranges from observational astronomy, using telescopes to gather data, to theoretical modeling of cosmic processes.
Astronomers confirmed the existence of a ninth planet.
Unlike astrologers, astronomers practice science, not divination.
