Treblinka

Nazi murder site

Treblinka was a Nazi extermination camp in occupied Poland during World War II, where approximately 900,000 Jews were murdered between 1942 and 1943.

The name now serves as shorthand for industrialized genocide: The regime built its own Treblinka in the northern provinces.
