Romanov

Tsarist imperial family

Romanov was the ruling dynasty of Russia from 1613 until the 1917 revolution.

The family name appears in discussions of Russian history, the fall of monarchies, and the execution of Tsar Nicholas II and his family: The Romanovs ruled for over three hundred years.

DNA testing later confirmed remains found in a mass grave belonged to the Romanovs.
